Nuestro compromiso

Planeamos eventos pensando en todos, y este sitio se construyó igual. Nuestra meta es cumplir con las Pautas de Accesibilidad para el Contenido Web (WCAG) 2.2, nivel AA.

Qué se revisó

Antes de publicar esta página revisamos, con herramientas y a mano:

El contraste de cada texto, medido sobre lo que realmente se ve en pantalla, incluyendo el texto que va encima de la fotografía.
Que se pueda recorrer todo el sitio con el teclado, sin ratón, y que siempre se vea dónde está el cursor.
Que el formulario tenga etiquetas claras y que se pueda llenar y enviar con el teclado.
Que las fotografías tengan descripción para quien usa lector de pantalla.
Que el sitio funcione en teléfono igual que en computadora.
Que las animaciones se apaguen solas si tu sistema pide "reducir movimiento".

Lo que todavía nos falta

Preferimos decirlo a que lo descubras tú. Este sitio aún no ha sido probado por una persona que use lector de pantalla todos los días, y esa prueba vale más que cualquier herramienta automática. Es lo siguiente en nuestra lista. Además, algunas etiquetas pequeñas del diseño van en tamaño reducido; si te cuestan trabajo, tu navegador puede agrandar todo el sitio y la página se acomoda.

No usamos widgets de accesibilidad

No instalamos esas barras o botones que prometen "hacer accesible" un sitio de forma automática. No funcionan bien y suelen estorbar a quien de verdad usa tecnología de apoyo. Preferimos arreglar el sitio de fondo.

Si algo no te funciona, dinos

Si encuentras cualquier parte de este sitio que no puedas usar, queremos saberlo, y lo arreglamos. No necesitas explicar términos técnicos: dinos qué intentabas hacer y qué pasó.

Our commitment

We plan events with everyone in mind, and this site was built the same way. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What we checked

Before publishing this page we checked, with tools and by hand:

The contrast of every piece of text, measured against what actually appears on screen, including the text sitting over the photograph.
That the whole site can be used with a keyboard, without a mouse, and that you can always see where you are.
That the form has clear labels and can be completed and sent from the keyboard.
That the photographs carry descriptions for anyone using a screen reader.
That the site works on a phone the same way it works on a computer.
That animation turns itself off if your system asks for reduced motion.

What we have not done yet

We would rather tell you than have you find out. This site has not yet been tested by someone who uses a screen reader every day, and that test is worth more than any automated tool. It is next on our list. Some small design labels are also set at a reduced size; if they are hard to read, your browser can enlarge the whole site and the page will adapt.

We do not use accessibility widgets

We do not install the bars or buttons that promise to make a site accessible automatically. They do not work well and they often get in the way of people who genuinely rely on assistive technology. We would rather fix the site itself.

If something does not work for you, tell us

If you find any part of this site you cannot use, we want to know, and we will fix it. You do not need to explain technical terms: just tell us what you were trying to do and what happened.
